We love these peeper protectors. Not only stylish and functional but Ombraz sunglasses have a unique

and patented soft cord instead of a hard arm. This allows the glasses to stay on your head when leaning over and working. It also provides a built in neck strap when you move indoors or just want them off of your head. We prefer the neutral polarized version as they do not add color adaptation into your eyes and brain so you can still see the proper colors of light. Polarizers take away the glare but also can give you a preview of what a pola may look like on your camera.

Ombraz launched in 2019 and made a big ‘ol splash in the outdoor community. Outside Magazine’s Best Gear of 2021, Backpacker Magazine's Best Gear of 2019, USA TODAY’s Best Gear of 2020 and Gear Junkie Sunglass of the year 2020 - these things are surprisngly awesome.

Everyone wears sunglasses, and everyone experiences the same frustrations - They fall off, they break, they’re easy to lose, and they hurt the sides of your head. We’ve solved those problems - by eliminating sidearms!

Equipped with polarized Zeiss optics, throw Ombraz in a pocket or backpack without them breaking, wear them on the water without them falling off and keep them on for hours without the temple headaches. Our marine-grade cord even fits perfectly under a helmet. People tend to be skeptical, until they put them on, then they’re always impressed.

When worn correctly at a relaxed fit, the cord looks like a sidearm on the side of the head and the back of the cord blends with your hairline - you don’t even feel the cord around your head - Ombraz seemingly float on your face. Drop them around your neck or toss them in your pocket or bag - there are no arms to break.
